On a new standalone build (details below), the SharePoint Health Analyzer in Central Administration states that "server farm account should not be used for other services". Details for the error are below.
BUILD: New stand-alone installation of Sharepoint 2013 Foundation SP1 (build 15.0.4569.1506) virtual (Hyper-V) server on Windows 2012 Standard R2 (4 CPU cores, and 12GB RAM) with SQL 2008 Express.
Looking back at the installation notes, it is only now that I realize I neglected to create the 1) SQL server service account, 2) setup user account, and 3) server farm account. :X
So, now I'm concerned with whether 1) my installation is stable (since I didn't create and use a "setup account" to run the installation to begin with), 2) which accounts are assigned to which services, and 3) how/if I can change them
(without having to rebuild the site!...although worst case scenario, hoping a backup and site restore onto another server is...easy enough...and won't carry my mistakes with it?)...
:(
When I go to services.msc, the services just say they are using a NETWORK SERVICE. When I go to Central Administration > Security, and choose a Service account to change, the only options are "Network Service" or "Local Service".
If this is all even possible, do I need to: 1) create these accounts in AD as Domain Users (any format, like: sp_farm and sp_sqladmin ?), 2) "Register the new managed account" in Central Administration, and 3) set the accounts
in Central Management > Security: Service Accounts?
Do I need to go to services.msc and apply the accounts to the services as well? Do I need to go into SQL Server Configuration Manager and change the SQL Server Log On account? Should all of the accounts in the message below have their own service account
associated, or can they all use the same? (The TechNet installation notes only reference creating the 3 above, although other user sites suggest creating others.)Which drop down option is the SPUserCodeV4 (in the error below) in the 'Central Adminstration > Security: Service Accounts' drop down menu?
Sorry for all the questions, but MANY thanks for your recommendations!
