Is there a Powershell script which can get all the features in a wsp and then enumerate throughout the entire farm and disable these?
I'd like such a script as uninstalling wsps can sometimes leave the "missing server-side dependencies" warning in SP2013.

im starting with Sharepoint 2013. I've already created a group, add a user but i can't limit the group access to a specific folder,
how can i do it? Is there any tutorial that runs through these steps, i seriously don't know where can i limit group access to one folder?...
To be more specific, i've created this group SharePoint_BI_SSRS_Sales_Reports, where i technicalguynr1 belong, then addedtechnicalguynr2,
, and then i've added these permissionlevels Structure, Edit Contribute and read.
Now, i can't find the place in settings ribbon or in the folder itself to share it with the group.
Can you help me out?

I am wanting to do some cleanup of my environment and was wanting to see if there is a script/tool that I could use that could give me every library/list in a entire web application that I could sort by last modified date and number of items. I just hate seeing libraries/list no longer being used still showing in sites with 0-10 items only.

I've imported extra containers from active directory like service accounts and disabled accounts and Number of User Profiles is 1539, I know the number of employees in my organization is about 1200, I tried to Edit synchronization connection and bring in ONLY the containers that I need and start full synchronization again, But it still shows 1539 for Number of User Profiles. How can I get rid of extra user profiles?

Am I able to use a wildcard certificate for everything in my SharePoint farm to include, the web app, ADFS/WAP servers ?
For every library and list, when we open the RSS feeds we see a Table of Contents above the list of articles. For a long list, this means a long Table of Contents.
How can we hide or eliminate this extra, unwanted distraction? Preferably globally.

"Full permissions" user gets permissions denied on Site Permissions page.
(Though he can see Site Settings page)
I tried removing him and then adding him back - but he still cannot see Permissions page on the site.
Another thing to note - if this user applies for permissions on THIS site - the other site owners get his request but Approve button comes as disabled/grayedout - only Decline button is enabled.
Any clues?

I have seen a very strange behavior in my SharePoint 2013 that not all Active Directory Users photos shown in Picture Library list, the missing user photos shown with black cross mark. Done following thing after full AD synchronization but still unsuccessful.

3. Verified the same issue with multiple browser, and multiple file type format
However, I have verified few things regarding User Profile Synchronization and it went okay. Refer to DB_Debug.png user name along with his binary image was there in database but when I try to see inhttp://uportal/sites/mysite/User%20Photos/Profile%20Pictures/ this particular user photo is missing.

I've had a request for a workflow to be set up that sends an alert when X hits a certain amount within the library (X coming from a separate lookup). e.g - If there are 4 or more apples, send me and any others an alert....If there are 4 or more oranges, send me and any others an alert.
So, going back to my question - How can I tell the workflow "when 4 or more apples/oranges/etc are NOW within a list, send an alert/email to these users to make them aware"?! I'm struggling mainly on how to do the count...any suggestions or workarounds would be great

Actually I'm facing some issue at Workflow level. Its List level SPD workflow and getting stuks or suspends at particular stage.
Once I googled it I found few forum links they are suggesting chnage the "Load User Profile" setting at IIS Level.
Steps:
In InetMgr, go to advanced settings for Security Token Service Application Pool and change "Load User Profile" to true. Recycleapplication poo.
Here I want to know the impact of this setting.

We have a few AD groups that we use in SP2013 sites. These groups have a specific permissions per subsite (broken inheritance).
After adding AD security group to subsite/library I try to check user permission, that is a member of this group, but no permission given. At the same time, if I configure the same user directly, I can see his permission.
We don't have people picker property configured, user profiles seems working fine and it's happening to all newly created groups over last 3 months. Older configured groups seems to work.
No updates were made in AD nor in SP. No customization or whatsoever in this site collection.
Also, same users in these groups works fine in other site collections on same web application and in TFS.

Recently set up SharePoint 2013. Backup fails on the search index. Anybody surprised by this? It happens in 2010 also.
I've reviewed the spbackup.log and below is output. How can I resolve this, Ineed a complete backup with zero errors?
