We have SSRS service application configured over SharePoint site and through RDL files and store procedure we are fetching the SSRS report.
There was MS patching occurred over the environment after which old RDL files are working but while uploading new RDL files through visual studio to SharePoint list, we are getting below error :

Hello,
I want to add multiple users to multiple site collections list that i have in excel spreadsheet. I don't want them to be added to all site collections under web applications. I have the list of specific site collections under same web application in excel and i want to add multiple users to that list of site collections. How can i achieve it in SharePoint 2013 using powershell?

one database has 15 site collections which we migrated from 2010 to 2016 using DB upgrade.
all sites migrated sucessfully except one site collection.
for that one site when we checked "site collection upgrade status" below are the logs, what could be the wrong. Please assist.
An observation. I copied a site across to our development farm, deleted all the documents and emptied the recycle bins. The database was still 55Gb. The Recycle Bin Timer Job had run. I turned off the recycle bins and the database showed almost 75% free space. It is now just over 13Gb. Does this mean that SharePoint does not tidy up the database after documents are deleted?
Cheers Ross
Hello colleagues,
I have encountered that the aforementioned database must be off the availability group when SharePoint updates are provisioned. On the TechNet article this database is labeled as not recommended for HA:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj841106.aspx
Can anyone explain why? Should we only remove the database temporary when the SharePoint is being upgraded or there are reasons to keep it off the cluster all the time?

Forum Members,
I didn't see an option for SharePoint 2016, but that's what I have. I downloaded the trial version of SharePoint 2016 and when I went to install it, it asked me for an installation key. There was, however, no option to 'use an evaluation version'. I got an e-mail from Microsoft about my evaluation of SharePoint, but it didn't include the installation key. Does anyone know where I'm supposed to get it from?
Thank-you,
Prince
I am attempting to upgrade to 2013 and after a few tests I was confident to proceed. On the production go live 2 subsites that never had this issue on testing starting doing exactly what this thread mentioned. Honestly I will copy/paste what they said because it's exactly what I've tried.

"Site collection
upgrade completes with errors and navigation breaks (see below how those funny images shows up on each page). Any suggestions what is going wrong? I'm upgrading from 2010 to 2013 through content attach approach. Apparently a number of other content
database upgrades went fine except this one.
Tried restoring DB twice and then upgrading with the same results. In 2010 mode the site shows up fine. Test-SPContentDatabase does show few missing setup file and webparts but none of them are upgrade blocking. "
The parent site and 6 subsites are working just fine. I have two that are doing this in the logs. Only difference I see compared to the working ones are these errors. Please please help I really appreciate anyone's time.

Hi All,
Word files of SharePoint 2013 sites unable to edit either on-line or in word desktop app. We are having web app server to open files in on-line. So I have recycled app pools related to Word in Web app servers. then now able to edit in on-line but can't in word
desktop app, showing as "can't locate the internet server or proxy server". for some other word files showing as "Sorry, we can't open https://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.docx because the server is not responding."
Is it takes some more time or am I missed anything. Please share your ideas..
Advanced thanks...

Hello all,
I am looking to send an overnight automatic email of my SharePoint calendar to a group of members. How can I achieve this while including the daily updates of the calendar? I know there is the reminder/alert me option, however, those only send the email with updates, add, change, delete I want the email to include ALL EVENTS LISTED ON THE CALENDAR and send a daily email with all of that information including comments, etc.I am upgrading from SharePoint 2013 to 2016 have a WFE server, App server and DB server. Central administration is running on the application server and I am installing SSRS in SharePoint mode on the WFE server.
1. I installed the SP software on the WFE, verified it is attached to the farm and is healthy in Central Administration.
2. I then changed the WFE minrole from Front End to Custom.
3. I then installed the SSRS software on the WFE.
When I try to create a reporting service application it does not show up in Central Admin. Documentation says that I only need to install the SSRS software on the server that will be supporting reporting. I have tried to rebuild the reporting software and even re-installed the reporting software to see if that would fix it.
In dev I have installed the SSRS software on both the WFE and App server and it is visible in Central Admin. Does or should SSRS be installed on the server hosting Central Admin to make it visible as a Service application? I don't have any issues installing it on the App server but documentation is telling me I don't need to and I'm trying to cleanup my install befor the production upgrade.
Thanks,
Sean
Information Management Policies have stopped running after a full Farm Restore.
In the Server Manager Event Viewer I am seeing 7981 Errors:
The Expiration Service encountered an error for site collection http://url.
Error: An item with the same key has already been added.
There is no more information in the Hive Log, has anyone any ideas what has gone wrong?
Cheers, Ross Urquhart

Hi All,
while trying to a add new item to a list in my sharepoint 2013 site from my mobile device in mobile view I am getting access denied notification. But while trying the same from my mobile device in PC view I am able to add a new item. I have tried several methods to identify the issue but wasn't successful. What can be the possible cause and how can I clear it, any help would be appreciated.
We just migrated to SP 2016. We are looking at trying to leverage an already existing instance of O365. What do we need to know to configure our SP farm to connect to it and be able to work with it? Do you have an article that addresses that specifically? I've found a lot of articles on setting up an O365 server and configuring SP to use it, but we won't be doing that.
Thanks
