Hi Team,
Could you please assits us on creating a normal webapp with site colleaction creation on port 3002 with host headers.

When we create a webapp in central admin what entries to fill in .
Curently i am filling following entries
1) web app name: career
2)port 3002
3) host header: career.abc.com
4)enable SSl: No(since the ssl is handled by network load balancer at client to NLB level)
5) Enable anonymous :yes
6) public URL: http://career.abc.com:3002
7) directory: c:\intepub\....
8) Database: some database
My main issue is somewhere that 3002 port is coming in url intermittently while accessing the site.
Where this 443 to 3302 mapping will happen at sharepoint level or NLB level
We dont have any extra AAM mapping in our site
we have other site on port 80/443 so we cannot create a site on 443 port and we cannot use wil card certificate to create the site on 443 port with throughout SSL.
No idea how to do where to go and how what we are doing wrong? pls assist.
