SharePoint 2013, single server Dev setup.
Setup a machine translation service and variations for French (fr-fr). I create a simple page with a few lines of text. I access variations and select machine translation. After a few seconds, I get the following (Translated from French).
Unable to complete the operation. Try again or contact your system administrator.
The file could not be translated due to intermittent system error. Resend the file for translation. If the file fails again with this error message, contact your system administrator.
You can restart the operation, but you might need to clean the data must first half created. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator.
