In our SharePoint 2013 POC, we have published a User Profile service on Farm A. We do content deployment from Farm A to Farm B. On Farm we consume, User Profile Service published on Farm A. Is this a supported scenario? Does content deployment change Audience GUID's on Destination Farm? In our environment, I have followed articles http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee704545.aspx, http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee704552.aspx, http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff700211.aspx etc and can successfully connect from Farm B to UPSS from Farm A. But attempts to resolve Audience from People Picker and Address Book fails.
