ForeFront Identity Manager as Single Sign-On for SharePoint 2013

Hello Community,

I have a customer who wants to use Forefront Identity Manager 2012 to achieve a Single Sign-On capability for SharePoint 2013.  My questions are these

    Hasn't FIM been deprecated as an identity manager for SP 2013 in favor of Claims Based Authentication?

    Can FIM and CBA be used together?

    How can FIM be used with the new Cloud integration capabilities of SP 2013?
