Microsoft says "eDiscovery, is the process of identifying and delivering electronic information that can be used as evidence." and I have couple of questions on this feature:
- Does it mean, that it's about searching content from SharePoint farm and exchange and then exporting different content from different location into a single document ?
- What does "used as evidence" means in above definition ?
- How it's differ from the search center ?
- What is the hold status we see under "Compliance Details" option in item context menu ?
- What are the different business cases/scenarios where we should use "eDiscovery feature" ?
