In our current 2010 installation we have three farms; 2 x Collaboration Farms which host Web Applications for two separate sections of the business and 1 x Application Services Farm.
The Application Services Farm host the Search, Managed Metadata and User Profile services which are then consumed by the two Collaboration Farms.
As we're looking to plan our architecture for SharePoint 2013 we're wondering if one of the Collaboration Farms can be decommissioned and the small single Web Application it currently hosts be migrated into the Application Services Farm.
Can anyone think of any considerations we should take into account before planning for this?
