Sharepoint 2013 - Server Farm does not serve pages

Hi All.

I recently set up a sharepoint farm on two servers. One (ServerA) runs MSSQL Server, and the central admin site. The other (ServerB) was supposed to run the IIS applications for the site collections. ServerB is the gateway on my network, and currently handles all incoming web and internet requests. None of my other servers have external IP addresses, and it is not an option to expose ports through ServerB.

Having configured both servers, I cannot create a web application on ServerB. There seems to be no option to do this in the central administration site. So I created a site collection on ServerA instead, which was also created (in IIS at least) on ServerB. When I navigate to this site from home (or indeed anywhere else), it asks me to log in (which I do), then gives me the following message:

HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Server: Microsoft-IIS/8.0
Date: Wed, 20 Feb 2013 18:39:43 GMT
Connection: close

Any help much appreciated!

P Twaites
