SharePoint 2013 Configuration failed to create sample data

Hi,

    Installing SharePoint 2013 with OS as Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and database as Sql Server 2008 r2 on VMWare Virtual Machine.

    But in the SharePoint Products configuration wizard, configuration failed in the 8th step with below error.

    " Failed to create sample data. An exception of type System.NullReferenceException was thrown.

     Please help me to resolve this issue...
