Upgrade to Enterprise

At one of my IT company's customers, I just finished installing SharePoint 2013 Standard. The customer, who knows enough IT to be dangerous, decided that he now wanted to upgrade it to Enterprise which he did I assume by just entering a new key.

I'm new to SharePoint so I'm just trying to figure out the basics, much less comparing the different versions.

Before he did the upgrade, SharePoint was working for the most part, I was just trying to figure out why some functions were not working. But there were no errors see anywhere.

But since he did the upgrade, there are now errors and warnings in SP Central Administration from the Health Analyzer. However, the only error that to me would prevent SharePoint from working (can't get past the login prompt when trying to open the SP site) is the following.

"Missing server side dependencies". The details are:

[MissingWebPart] WebPart class [28c23aec-2537-68b3-43b6-845b13cea19f] is referenced [5] times in the database [SharePoint_AdminContent_899710bf-2ef7-489f-9793-be82f5c6a9d9], but is not installed on the current farm. Please install any feature/solution which contains this web part. One or more web parts are referenced in the database [SharePoint_AdminContent_899710bf-2ef7-489f-9793-be82f5c6a9d9], but are not installed on the current farm. Please install any feature or solution which contains these web parts.

Would this error be caused by the upgrade from Standard to Enterprise? No content has been added, the site is still "pristine". Would I be better off trying figure out how to repair the above error and hope that allows the site to start working again or should I just uninstall and reinstall SharePoint since no data would be lost?

Jonathan
