SharePoint 2013 Authentication and Identity provider with SAML 2.0

Hi,

One of our customer has a Identity provider which uses SAML 2.0. We want to use this for an SharePoint 2013 (standard version) intranet portal for authentication purpose. We would like to know if we can use the SAML 2.0 Identity provider for SharePoint 2013 standard version for login authentication.
