An exception of type System.TypeLoadException was thrown. Additional exception information: Method 'Upgrade' in type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.WorkflowServices.WorkflowServiceApplicationProxy' from assembly 'Microsoft.SharePoint.WorkflowServices, Version=15.

I have SharePoint 2013 server installed inside windows server 2008 R2 SP1. i use to have march 2013 update for SharePoint , then i run the windows update to update the windows server and SharePoint 2013.

but after installing the windows update , I try accessing my SharePoint sites but i got the following error:-

Method 'Upgrade' in type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.WorkflowServices.WorkflowServiceApplicationProxy' from assembly 'Microsoft.SharePoint.WorkflowServices, Version=15.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c' does not have an implementation.

and when i run the SharePoint 2013 product configuration wizard , i got the following error on step 2:-

can anyone advice on this please ? and did the same update to our staging server and it worked well, but on the live server i run into this problem?
