Newsfeed and skydrive are not working in sharepoint 2013

I have created web application and my site, configure the user profile service based on the link:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee624362(v=office.15).aspx

but when I click newsfeed or skydrive, it navigates to below :

no newsfeed link on the left menu.

Any suggestions? thanks in advance.
