I have a site collection ( SharePoint 2013) with many subsites ( several hundred). If I do not set a custom results page and then navigate to a sub site , and then select search this site results are returned for the subsite only using the default osssearchreults.aspx page. This is similar functionality from SharePoint 2010 ( I had Fast Search). But, if I point search to a custom results page and set the filter to {searchboxquery} Path:{Site.URL} attempting to replicate search this site only. I do not get any results. When I look at Fiddler it looks like site.Url gets replaced with the url from my search center instead of the subsite where I entered the query in the search box. From what I understand of the URL token it should be the url of the current website. How do I set this up so I can search a subsite only ( not the entire site collection) while using a custom results page.
