In our organization, we recently migrated a SharePoint 2010 content dbs to SharePoint 2013. After migration, we created many sites in the SP 2010 compatibility mode. Any documents uploaded in these new sites, have their metadata duplicated.
For example, if the document has columns "A","B". Then in view form and edit form, they are shown twice. I checked the custom content type that is being used by the document, the content type has the columns duplicated.
Need help as to why the columns are getting duplicated in the content type.
Note: the Content type is a custom content type deployed using a solution. The content type is working fine in other SP 2013 environment.
