I am trying to get the SharePoint Store working on my test installation of SharePoint 2013. I've created the required DNS entries, created and configured the App managmenent and Site Subscriptions service applications, and even created an app catalog site collection (though I shouldn't need that).
When I try to "Purchase Apps" in central administration, I get "Sorry, we can't seem to connect to the SharePoint Store". I suspect an issue with getting through our internet proxy.
So I unchecked "automatically detect settings" in the IE settings. No change. And looking at the Forefront TMG logs, I can confirm each attempt to "Purchase Apps" is generating traffic through the proxy. I tried putting a dummy WPAD entry (pointing to 127.0.01) in the SharePoint server hosts file...but "Purchase Apps" attempts still generate traffic to the proxy and still fail.
Any ideas on how to prevent SharePoint from using the proxy??
