If a user clicks the 'Newsfeed' link in the top nav bar, they are taken to http://mysite/default.aspx (url 1)
But if a user enters into the browser address bar the mysite host ("http://mysite" in our case) the user is taken to http://mysite/_layouts/15/start.aspx#/default.aspx (url2)
Why?
This is weird, and I'd like to know how to fix this wonkiness, because for some reason it is breaking javascript used to hide the Blog and Apps from the quicklinks.
