Using Migrate user to Move an AD group

Users are gaining access to SharePoint through an Active Directory Security group added in SharePoint "Users and Groups."  We will be moving to a new domain and the group will be copied to the new domain in Active Directory Users and Computers.  I would like to use stsadm migrateuser command to migrate the group . Does anyone know if this will work?
