Hi SharePoint Gurus - The situation is that top management wants to upgrade only 2 site collections (including root site collections) to 2013 and leaving the rest in 2010. We have 21 site collections all in one database. Does 2013 supports partly upgrade?
It's not just the upgrade issue that is questionable but how to manage two separate environments 2010 and 2013? Also, looking for reasons as why is this approach not to be pursue? I am not sure if Microsoft recommend this approach.
I am not willing to go this route. As I already performed the test upgrade (Full) which is working fine but not fully tested yet by QA. Need to convince the top management.
Please advise.
