Hello,
I've had a search around for this but not come up with anything, still, I think this should be a simple question to answer.
Essentially I have a site on the default zone with, say, an external URL of 'http://www.example.com'. The internal URLs for this site are 'http://www.example.com' and 'https://www.example.com'. On IIS I have bindings for both the http and https versions.
This seems to work okay in general except for 1 annoying problem I've noticed.
When I just type in the url for 'http://www.example.com' it redirects me to 'http://www.example.com/pages/default.aspx' as per normal. However putting in 'https://www.example.com' still forwards me to the same (http) location.
What gives here? Is the redirect a hard coded URL based on the external URL or something? How can I make it protocol or URI aware? Or is it just something I'm missing?
