Hi,
I would like to know your approach for backup up/restoring sharepoint environment. What are your experiences? How can I backup an entire sharepoint environment (single machine) to be able to restore it later back to the initial state?
E.g. let's consider the following scenario:
I have a SP2013 virtual machine (including sql server and domain controller) used for development. I would like to use it as an image in azure. This requires running 'sysprep', which removes all configuration an requires to run the sp configuration wizard afterwards. How can I backup this initial machine before running sysprep to be able to restore all the content/configuration after I create a VM in azure?
