we have the following construct:
- an internal Sharepoint Server (sharepoint01.local)
- the internal sharepoint is accessible from external via sharepoint.companyname.com
This construct is build because of various reasons (e.g. firewall and routing) and because of features we use (e.g. SSO).
We now have the issue that some users setup the skydrive Pro client in order to sync there webshare with sharepoint01.local. But when they are external the sync is no longer working (because of the internal URL used). Normally sharepoint should internally detect if the external or internal URL is used here. Could the Skydrive do the same? If possible it should switch to the internal URL when the user is working internally and the external one, if the user is working external.
