Good day SharePoint Experts.
We're facing the possibility of applying some changes on SharePoint 2013 & I'm performing full farm backups (CentralAdmin/PowerShell) but also, I'm not feeling confident trusting my carreer on that kind of full backups (If you've some experience on recovery you'll understand my concern), because on 2013 architecture, multiple databases are interdependant... alsobackup only content databases is not an option.
So... I need to perform a full SharePoint 2013 backup by taking a full database snapshot via Marked Transactions (Unfortunately Virtual Server is not an option because of available resources) but, historically SharePoint does not like you to create a new "TransactionMarker" table inside any of it's databases.
Is there any way (Instead of only Content Database Backup / Full CentralAdmin/PowerShell) to perform a Transaction Marked Transaction Log Backup/Restore as in BizTalkServer & TeamFoundationServer to restore DB and move the transaction log up to the mark?, obviously a supported way to accomplish it without compromising Microsoft Support&Fix Service (I mean: an official supported way).
