When I create a new web application I get a 404 when trying to browse the site (using the IP and Port directly from the Central Admin server or the client machine). The site will prompt for credentials than display the 404. I have other Web apps/site collections that work fine. When I go into Central Admin -> Application Management -> View All Site Collections - The Web Application in question is blank, no default URL, Title, Database name, etc. Event Log looks good, Sites exist in IIS, Content Database Exists, Virtual directories exist, etc.
