Hi Experts,

I am attempting to publish an excel workbook in SharePoint such that the data can be refreshed. Currently I am receiving the following error:

The SharePoint log errors are at the bottom of the post, for clarity.

Steps I have taken:

1. Opened a new Excel workbook.

2. Went to DATA and choose 'From Other Sources -> SQL Server'

2a. I Input the server name and selected 'Use Windows Authentication' then click 'Next'

2b. selected the database and table I wanted, 'Next'

2c. Clicked 'browse' and chose save my .ODC file into my 'Data Connections Library' in my SharePoint site.

2d. Set my Authentication Settings to 'Use a Stored Account', I input my target application ID'Excel Services Application Unattended Service Account'

2e. I click 'Finish', the .ODC file gets saved to my 'Data Connections Library' and Data gets generated in my excel spreadsheet.

2f. I save my Excel file to a my SharePoint Documents Library and then create an Excel Web Access web part to view it.

Central Administration:

1. I browse to 'Manage Service Applications' -> 'Excel Service Application' -> 'Global Settings' and verify that 'Use an Existing Unattended Service Account' is set and is using 'Excel Services Application Unattended Service Account' (which is my target application ID)

2. I added the document library where the excel file is located to my 'Trusted File Locations'

3. Verified I am using a trusted data provider listed.

4. I added the data connection library to the 'Trusted Data Connection Libraries'

5. It's not a multidimensional source, so I ignore 'Data Model Settings'.

6. Made sure I set the service account credentials in the target application.

Any idea what I am doing wrong? Below are the errors.

Thank you for any advice or recommendations you may have.. sincerely appreciated.
