Hi,

I have been struggeling quite a bit getting mytasks getting up and running but keep getting the error: Last updated at 1/1/1901 12:00 AM

At the moment I have 2 web applications running with My Sites in one and some smaller site Collections in the other. When I search the tasks they appear ok in the result.

MySites are working properly ang giving no issues so it is bit of a pain. First thought was incorrect settings on the permissions for the User Profile Service Application and also tried setting the same service account on the User Profile Service Application and the Work Management Service Application as suggested here:

http://honggyem.blogspot.dk/2013/05/my-tasks-not-updating-seen-following.html but without luck

Have been looking in the logs and noticed the following beeing returned when trying to access a mytasks:

Cannot get user profile because we cannot connect to User Profile service.

Followed by:

Could not kick off farm refresh job. [bucketHash:E1B40EA9] Exception details follow. Type:
'System.NullReferenceException', message: 'Object reference not set to an
instance of an object.' and stack trace:
