Upgrading SharePoint 2013 Foundation to SharePoint Server 2013

Hello everyone, I am currently working with a non for profit organisation over in Sydney and I am having difficulty in helping them update their version of SharePoint. They currently have SharePoint Foundation 2013 and have recently purchased SharePoint Server 2013. I have searched online (Googled), I have searched on this TechNet forum, searched through Microsoft's website and basically everywhere trying to find out how to upgrade. The issue is that there are plenty of resources on how to upgrade 2007/2010 to 2013, however I can't find a single resource on how to upgrade 2013 Foundation to 2013 Server. The charity themselves don't have any documentation and I cant see to find anything that will give me a step-by-step process for helping them update their version. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, as they do not have a support plan for Microsoft or from any vendors and the only option I was told was to launch a support ticket and choosing either a Microsoft / TechNet support plan, Contract, Credit Card or Support Plan (and I would like to save them the $295 that they charge for submitting a ticket outside of a support plan. I have never had to update anything on a commercial level and I simply assumed when an organisation was purchasing thousands of dollars worth of software that a basic upgrade documentation would be part of the price.

I managed to find a 600+ page document outlining essentially everything about SharePoint; however I couldn't find any section that details the process of installing Server when Foundation already exists (Do I just simply install over the top?)

I hope to hear back from someone if they can offer any advice. Kind Regards, Simon
