Allow access from nginx server

Hi,

We have a third party developing an application for us on Linux, where nginx is the web server.  We need to be able to allow it to connect to our current sharepoint 2010 site for docs, however, it does allow for windows authentication. 

Does anyone have any experience of this or ideas that could possibly make it work?
