I am supporting a 2007 environment on a single domain. The people picker does not seem to pick up certain user accounts that are in AD. These accounts are enabled in AD.
AD seems to bring back some not all accounts. I created an account today, not imported. An old account created months ago also not imported.
To make things even more confusing, first the people picker would show the spinning icon and then return the red sriggly line under the typed username, but now it just spins indefinately. Nothing brings back these missing accounts - typing in the first letter of the first or surname, or the username, etc....
What could cause such behaviour?
