Migrate a subsite from SharePoint 2010 to 2013

Hi,

I have a requirement where i have to move selected subsites in a SharePoint 2010 site collection as subsites in a new SharePoint 2013 site collection. What is the quickest way to do this?

One approach i thought is

• Upgrade the SharePoint 2010 site collection to a new 2013 site collection using database attach method.
• Use export/import site in SharePoint 2013 to move the subsites needed as sub sites of my existing SharePoint 2013 site collection.

But this surely will take a lot of effort. Any other quick ways of doing this?
