I have a SharePoint 2013 Server and a CRM 2011 Server. These servers are separated by different domains and fully accessible on the internet on two different domains. On 2010, I had no trouble with the connector and all worked great, however since upgrading to 2013, I have not been able to get the connector to work.
I have already downloaded the latest solution file and uploaded it to my web app I use it on, replacing my existing one. After some research I found a url http://webapp/crmgrid/crmgridpage.aspx to test. When I test this I get
Web Part Error: Unhandled exception was thrown by the sandboxed code wrapper's Execute method in the partial trust app domain: An unexpected error has occurred
I get the same error when I use the external address as well.
