We've had our SharePoint collection up and running for awhile now, with no permissions issues, really. Up until now, that is. Very recently, and now at an alarming rate on new additions to the collection, the system level "limited access" is being assigned to users and groups that have already been granted, at the least, read access to a site and its sub-items.
We have tried to remove the user's permissions, and reassign them, to no avail; the "limited access" assignment returns.
Any ideas as to what may be going on? Is it a malfunctioning service on the server? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
