When connecting to our SharePoint 2013 site from within our domain, things seem to work fine like in this screenshot...

But when I try to connect from an iPad that has wi-fi turned off, so I'm just using the cell service and therefore, outside of our domain, I get a message in the middle of the screen that simply says "An error has occurred. Click here to try again." Here is a screenshot...

I just set up this server and everything myself and I'm very new to all of this. Is this an authenication issue within SharePoint? When I attempt to connect to the Central Administration page from outside the domain, things work fine.
Please help. Thanks for your time.
