Sharepoint search crawl is not working . It is always throwing below error in the crawl log..
This item could not be crawled because the repository did not respond within the specified timeout period. Try to crawl the repository at a later time, or increase the timeout value on the Proxy and Timeout page in search administration. You might also want to crawl this repository during off-peak usage times.
Verified that there is no proxy is configured in central admin and website is opening in App server as well after configuring the IIS bindings and the binded details is provided in etc / host file as well... Also the crawling account has full control in the web application. Please advise what else need to be done.
