Hi All,
I have a single server SharePoint 2013 Farm. SQL sever install on same box. I have few web apps and site collections everything fine. Somehow by mistake on Manage Services on Server page stopped “Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Web Application” I try to stop the process but it did not stop. it’s been running from last 7+ hours. I will start it again once it stop and become normal but I have lost all the files in virtual directory folder.
Is there any way to restore all files (web.config) in virtual directory? If not what are other option to get those sites back
“Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Web Application” Service is still showing “Stopping”, how can I force Cancel this process and start it back on?
Any help? Thanks
