Publish a page in a site created by Powershell

Hi there

Running SharePoint 2013 here

I have created a subsite for a SP-Web via Powershell (using template CMSPUBLISHING#0) and i want to be able to Publish the default.aspx page.

At the moment when the site is created via PowerShell the homepage needs to be published, I want to automate this so no admin needs to go to the page and click the publish button.

I do not need to check in ALL files in the site collection, can someone help?
