How can I create a site column from a list column?

I have ten individual list columns that I would like to use for other lists now by creating site columns on the parent site. Instead of creating each column manually I was wondering whether there is any tool to do it (such as export/ import as spreadsheet, or create by existing column (which usually only works for site columns, but not the other way round).
