SharePoint 2013 My Site User Quick Launch rewrites external URL's to it's own URL?

Hi everyone,

I've set-up SharePoint 2013 Enterprise edition with My Site functionality in two separate web applications, for example:

https://sharepoint.microsoft.com for the company's site collection and

https://mysite.microsoft.com for the My Site features.

Everything works fine, but I've got one strange issue: every time when I add a new link to my personal My Site Quick Navigation (using the Edit Links functionality on the left) onhttps://mysite.microsoft.com, and point to a sub site onhttps://sharepoint.microsoft.com (for example:https://sharepoint.microsoft.com/site1), it rewrites it to the My Site URL again (https://mysite.microsoft.com/site1).

How can this be? Other URL's work fine, but when I select URL's from that web application, it rewrites.

Someone have an idea what this could be?
