I wanted to check out SharePoint Foundation 2013, so I setup a new Windows Server 2012, patched it, installed SQL 2012 with SP1, and installed SharePoint. Once I configured the site admin collection and tried to access everything appeared fine until the server was restarted. Upon restart, the server is unresponsive. You never get to the point of being able to login.
In troubleshooting this, I uninstalled sharepoint (safe mode seemed to work) and the server was back to normal. Install SharePoint again (reboot), all fine. Configure site admin collection (reboot), problem returns. Event log didn't show anything interesting. Safemode appears to work.
Anyone have problems like this? Could this be a problem with SharePoint not liking Windows 2012? This is kind of frustrating, since it's on a clean machine, single server/site, about as simple as you can get.
Thanks in advance.
