I have a 2010 SharePoint Server using Windows Authentication. I have setup a new 2013 SharePoint farm and was able to get the content database moved/upgraded from the 2010 server to the 2013 server. The only problem is that the only users that authenticate are the admin accounts. I really wanted to avoid upgrading to claims based authentication on the old server if at all possible. Is there another solution to this?
I did remove the 'Read-Only' group that we have from the 2013 server and added it right back right where it was, and then that group of logins worked appropriately on 2013. However, I have tons of nested individual permissions throughout all of the farm. Is there another way to 'refresh' the logins so that they will work throughout the farm without removing them and adding them back?
