Hello All -
I have set up a share-point hosted development environment and created a couple test apps. I have also set up a publishing site as well as an app catalog site on that same box. I can add the apps (.app files) to the app catalog site and they are available in my publishing site for use.
2 issues
1. App A has a client web part (app part) within. When it is added to a page in the publishing site its webpage does not show up.
2. App B which stands on its own, when trying to add the app to the publishing site the install process fails and you see (on the Site Contents page) an error - Sorry, something went wrong with adding the app
I have a feeling this has something to do with access of my app URL.
