We migrated from 2010 to 2019 onprem version recently. Our alerts setup by users are not working in root site collection. I tried alert in other site collection in the same web application, they are working. All site collections has separate content database.
These are the actions I took but no luck in getting them working.
1. checked the out going email settings. They looked good, we are getting designer workflow emails. Also, I tried setting up a new alert and I got alert successfully created email.
2. Alert jobs are working. Immediate Alert job is running every minute.
3. Did Stsadm.exe -o getproperty -url http://SharePoint-web-App-URL -pn alerts-enabled, <Property Exist="Yes" Value="yes" /> is the result I got
4. Alerts are not working for all users. Not one particular user. I'm a site collection admin, I'm not seeing my alerts.
5. Cleared the config cache on all the servers.
Note: When we did test migration a week back the live migration alerts worked in this site collection which has the problem now,
Please guide me in getting these working.
