We have recently upgraded our SharePoint from 2010 to 2013 - i created a out of the box approval workflow in SharePoint 2010, with some modifications, and it was working perfectly in SharePoint 2010.
The converted workflow, in my SharePoint 2013 installation does not - the workflow runs, in the beginning, and it spams all the mail recipients with mails about the new item to approve (it should only send to, one to the creater of the item, and one to the person that should approve it) - This is my first problem.
After, i tried to approve the workflow, but it didn't work, i couldn't do anything except to delete the list item that triggered the workflow, this caused the SharePoint server to spam me again, with about 8 e-mails containing the same pice of text saying that my item has been deleted.
I also tried to do a little bit of re-configuring in the workflow, but none of my changes seems to have effect.
Do i need SharePoint Workflow Manager for my SharePoint 2010 workflow to function correctly in SharePoint 2013??
