SharePoint 2013 Enterprise, with a dedicated Office Web Apps server (not yet connected/configured)
I am attempting to add the Excel Services Application. I select 'New' from the Service Applications page, however, I do not see Excel Services.
PatchStatus.aspx shows excel service components for 2013 Enterprise are installed: (Fig 1)
However, Excel Services is not available from the New menu on Service Applications Page... (Fig 2)
This is also happening to Access Services, Performance Point Services, Visio Services and Word Services.
Also, this is happening on two different farms.... these services are not a part of Office Web Apps are they?
Does the following statement mean that without SQL 2012 SP1, Excel Services will not be available to SP 2013?
"SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 1 (SP1) is a version of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 that supports Microsoft SharePoint 2013 Excel Services usage of Excel workbooks containing data models and Reporting Services Power View reports." - source: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj218795.aspx
Suggestions? Advice? (where you at Trevor? :))
