I am seeing Service Application errors in 3 areas in SharePoint 2013. I believe this is keeping me from completing the creation of MySites although I have been able to set up project 2013 sucessfully.
The errors are:
App Management service shows a status or Error however the App management service proxy below it is showing started.
Business Data Connectivity Service shows a status or Error however the Business data service proxy below it is showing started.
User Profile Service Application shows a status of "Starting" and never goes beyond this. Again the Proxy is showing started.
I have tracked down a number of errors related but they all seem to do with SharePoint 2010.
Note this is for a Proof of concept but I would be hard pressed to completely blow the environment away since I have a report due in a few days to
management and it would be nice to have MySites working.
