Statistics Lost After Migration 2010->2013

Hi all,

I am experiencing some interesting analytics behavior after migrating SP web applications from SP2010 to SP2013:

For the migrated websites, it seems that Usage Analytics is not turned on ("Popularity Trends", "Most popular items" missing on the ribbon and under site settings). Instead, under site settings we found - under "Site Actions"- the following links:

- Site Collection Web Analytics Report

- Site Web Analytics Report

Opening any of these results in the old-style (SP2010) web analytics, but without fresh data (the currentmost data is from the pre-migration time).

Has anyone an idea on how to turn the new Usage Analytics on or at least re-enable the data collection for it?

Thanks and best,

Martin
