Error while editing 'content source' Could not read key from registry

Hello,

I have changed the default URL for our SharePoint site to https://mySP This caused issues with the search and I had to reset the index. I have different content source defined (no Idea why, I didn't set this up). I could 'fully crawl' some of the smaller content sources but not the 'local sharepoint sites' (as this ate up all available disk space on c:, but releasing back on pauze). So I figured I might better split it up in different content sources. I deleted a url from the local sharepoint site and tried to add it to a new content source. Then I got this error:

"Sorry, something went wrong. Could not read key from registry (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040150 (REGDB_E_READREGDB))"

The content source is created but its "start addresses" are blank. Trying to add a url always give the same error, so I figured I better add the url back to the 'local sharepoint sites' but it gives me the same error.

Please advise on how to proceed (as now I don't even have a content source for my main site collection).
