According to this article we should now be able to use Data validation in Office Web apps.
I'v tried to upgrade our Office webapps farm with the June Patch. but I still receive the following error when I open an excel workbook that uses data validation:

Also tried to install the August patchfor office web apps. Event tried the august CU for Sharepoint but still same result.
So.. Is the Article wrong or is this not available in on premises solutions?
Another question now we are at it: are Office Web Apps updates actually cumulative so I can just install the newest one like we do with Sharepoint CUs? They are placed under individual server updates but when I installed the June patch for web apps and installed the August patch afterwards I only saw the august patch in installed updates. Its a bit misleading on the office web apps guidelines so I just want to be sure.
